I would book this place again.
Everything was just perfect. The attic room was super nice. Very helpful staff and very healthy and delicious breakfast.

Amazing cosy place with great breakfast
The hotel is very cosy and clean. We loved the concept — every room tells a different Slovenian story. Breakfast was always great offering delicious local produce. We would definitely come back. The only issue we had with our stay is that the toilet in the room has only glass doors and a curtain which gives little privacy.

Genuine decorated old house
Beautifully restaurated 100 years old house. It has wooden floor and originally decorated rooms. Warm and very clean. We also liked a genuine bathroom. Very nice views from the window. Across the street is a restaurant from another hotel which is convenient. All the check in is done electronically.

Delightful in every way.
Our rooms at Pr' Gavedarjo Podkoren have been delightful in every way. Our first night was so great that we decided to stay a second night -- we had to change rooms as our first room was already rented for the second night, but management made that super easy. Both rooms were spacious and well-appointed with beautiful wood everywhere. The hotel across the street in the quaint village served a delicious dinner. But the best part was the breakfast hostess, Lucija, who was gracious and fun to talk with (you pick the language -- she speaks them all!) while serving a lovely breakfast. This location is near the Julian Alps with easy access. A lovely spot in every way.

Great location to explore the area around the Triglav Mountain, friendly owner
The room was very spacious and clean, with some traditional kind of furniture. The breakfast buffet was also very good. The property is just 3km from Kranjska Gora, from where you can then drive up the Vršic Pass via a beautiful mountain road. The owner Martina is very friendly and contacted us after the booking providing all the useful information to access the property, a very easy process. Parking is available at the property and included. Overall it was a very good experience :)

A beautiful well cared for historic building, well recommended
A beautiful historic building, where care has been taken over many aspects. My room (Nr. 1), for instance was extremely comfortable, plenty of space and with a modern private bath facilities. Very tastefully put together. Delicious bio-breakfast with an extremely a helpful and knowledgeable person ensuring that you are well looked after. This property is relatively close to the cycle path that I used to travel the 2.5km in to Kranjska Gora. The property is located the center of Podkoren and completely quiet at night.
